First meeting of regional Local Development Forum (LDF) aimed at discussing community projects funding principles and available community initiatives that need funds raising was held in Ivanivka in the framework of Community Based Approach to Local Development (CBA) Project on 20 February 2009.

The head of regional state administration O.I.Kolesnikov who was the chairman of the meeting underlined in his speech the importance of cooperation and community-based initiatives for the salvation of village social problems.

All community organizations of Ivankivsky rayon focused on the salvation of fresh water supply problem. As a result, the partners approved financing of two community projects – village Radisne (community organisation  Radisnyanski dzherela) and village Petrivka (community organisation  Geyser). Community organizations managers and officials of villages Bilka, Bogunove, Buzinove local administrations were instructed to initiate the preparation of project suggestions for the next LDF meeting that will be held in March 2009.
