ВАКАНСІЯ: Асистент Проекту СВА

With the aim to build enhanced community self-reliance, the United Nations Development Programme and the European Commission Delegation in Ukraine are launching a new project Community Based Approach to Local Development (CBA). The initiative will utilise UNDP’s capacity and experience obtained in community-based approaches through ongoing Area-Based Development projects (Crimea Integration & Development Programme, Chernobyl Recovery & Development Programme and Municipal Governance & Sustainable Development Programme).The project seeks to replicate previous positive UNDP experiences in a large number of communities in 24 oblasts of Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (see attached Project Summary for more detailed project description).

 

UNDP is recruiting professionals with relevant experience and track record for key positions in the Project Management Unit

Terms of Reference

Administrative Assistant

 

The Administrative Assistant works in close collaboration with the Management Support and Business Development, Programme and Operations Teams staff and other UN agencies staff to exchange information and ensure consistent service delivery

 

 

 

  • Provision of front-desk service and telephone communications services.
    Monitoring of all visitors to the office; assistance to visitors by providing directions and accurate information related to CBA/UNDP.
  • Maintenance of recording information in the system, solution of minor technical problems, and reporting to telephone service provider for regular maintenance and repair.
  • Management and planning of the front desk coverage.
  • Support documentation of CBA-related information
  • Organize and facilitate missions of the UNDP Kyiv Office, donor organizations, Government officials, consultants and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that project files related to CBA/UNDP, including electronic files, are kept up-to-date and well-organized and that these are easily accessible to CBA/UNDP management personnel in order to facilitate the timely and effective implementation of activities of CBA/UNDP staff, as well as to monitors, evaluators, auditors, etc.
  • Work closely with field staff.
  • Engage in other tasks and activities that may be required.
  • Translation and interpretation skills

 

 

· Secondary education

· 5 years of relevant experience would be preferable.

· Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc)

· Experience in assistance projects would be an asset

· Fluency in English and Ukrainian

· Excellent interpersonal and task management skills and a client-oriented service orientation; ability to work under pressure, with strong delivery orientation.

The Receptionist promotes a client, quality and results-oriented approach.
