Signing of the Partnership Agreement at the regional seminar

Read more...Poltava region launched the second phase of the European Union and UNDP joint project "Community Based Approach to Local Development CBA" – II, aimed at supporting rural communities in addressing critical needs of their development and improvement of living conditions. The workshop presented an action plan to implement the project in the region. Special attention was paid to the explanation of the approach which is the basis of the project on "development-oriented to community." The project will have a budget of 17.1 million euros, of which 98.4% - EU contribution, 1.6% - contribution of UNDP. The project duration is 4 years and will operate on the territory of Ukraine and Crimea.

Communities are actively involved in the processes of local development in Poltava region

Read more...On June 22, 2011 in Kyiv, the Steering Committee meeting of the CBA project took place. The participants of the meeting were: representatives of the United Nations Development Programme, the EU Delegation in Ukraine, ministries, parliamentary committees, associations of local authorities, 22 governors / regional councils. Poltava region was presented by the Project Coordinator in the oblast, Head of the External Relations Department at State Poltava Administration Dmitry Orlov.
