On 17 January 2013 a meeting of CBA-II Project Regional Coordination Council took place in Mykolaiv. The discussion was about present conditions of the CBA Project implementation in the region and in rayons, plan of cooperation for 2013, problems of community organizations and perspectives in implementation of MPP in innovation and energy efficiency spheres and agricultural economic development.

At the RCC meeting it was also discussed implementation of projects in innovation sphere with alternative energy sources. Mykolayiv region has been selected for implementation of pilot micro-projects on energy efficiency component in the following rayons: Pervomayskiy, Voznesenskiy, Bashtanskiy (2 MPPs in each rayon). CBA-II Project share will be 70% from the MPP cost.

Support of agricultural service cooperatives is a new direction of the CBA Project. On the south of Ukraine only one oblast was selected for development of agricultural service cooperatives. Two communities from Snigurivskiy and Bashtanskiy rayon were selected, were work on ASC has already been started. ). CBA-II Project share will be 25,000.00$ but not more then 75% of total project costs.

On the RCC was honored the best RCRC and the winners were Voznesenskiy, Berezneguvatskiy and Bashtanskiy rayon. They will receive necessary equipment for proper work.
