From 29 August to 7 September 2011 in selected eight rayons the seminars were held during which presentation of the EU / UNDP "Local Development CBA - II" was conducted. The information about the successful experience of the first phase of the project in Ukraine was demonstrated, in particular, in the Poltava region about opportunities for local communities in the second phase of the project. The target audience of workshops were leaders and regional specialists, heads of village councils, action groups, heads of NGOs, media representatives and other interested parties.

Partnership Agreement between UNDP and rayon state administrations and rayon councils in all selected regions were signed at the workshops. At the end of the workshops competition for village councils willing to participate in a joint project EU-UNDP "Local Development CBA - II". Village councils were invited to submit applications within 15 days.
