VI meeting of regional coordination council of the CBA Project took place on 05 July 2012 in Ivano-Frankivsk with the participation of Mr. Pavliuk, First Deputy Head of Ivano-Frankivsk ODA, Mr. Dzesy, Deputy Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Council and community development officers Ms. Popeliukh and Ms. Khomyn. The aim of meeting was to present a strategy of the implementation of the Project in a region in the second half-year of 2012, presentation of collaboration terms of the energy efficiency component and announcement about competition among the oblast rayons for participating in the "special piloting" of the given component.

Members of the oblast coordination council together with oblast authorities discussed the strategy of the project implementation in the region in a current year.

The selected oblasts will be supported as follows:

• Support on the terms of co-financing of the update of existent strategy of energy efficiency;
• Support on the terms of co-financing of the development of project and technical documentation for important investments in a power sector for the measures envisaged by the renewed strategy on energy efficiency (up to USD 40.000);
• Support on the terms of co-financing of at least 8 innovative energyeffective micro-projects in the selected communities. General budget will be USD 160.000 for the oblast;
• Support in the information collection, in the results estimation, in the preparation of materials and distribution of experience.
