From 15 to 17 October, 2015, in Odessa city, was held the fifth International Youth Festival of Social Advertising on Local Development “Inshyi Poglyad” (“Different View”) with the support of the joint EU/UNDP “Community Based Approach to Local Development” (CBA) Project and CBA National partner network universities. The CBA Project became the general partner of the Festival. The organizer of the event was a member of National partner network universities and CBA Partner - National University “Odessa Law Academy”.
The main purpose of the festival is to talk about the social problems of the youth from the standpoint of young people, to find the innovative and original ideas for solving these problems, and to attract young people to an open discussion and to draw attention of a wide audience to socially important topics.
The festival participants were students from various Ukrainian and foreign universities, as well as not indifferent youth under 30 years, who was ready to speak openly about social problems and seek the solutions. This year the Festival became international – representatives from Germany, Russia, Portugal and Poland presented their works. For all years of the Festival activity, were received more than 1200 works.
During Festival, the CBA Project awarded the project work about the increase awareness of the role of local communities. The winners in the special CBA nomination were students of National University “Odessa Law Academy” Sitinska Oksana and Samko Yana for their work in print social advertising field “Together we are stronger”.
